These homemade tortillas are soft, flexible and incredibly easy to make. You only need a few simple ingredients and a short resting time of 20 to 30 minutes to create warm, fresh tortillas that taste far better than anything store-bought. They are perfect for wraps, tacos, lunches and quick weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
1 and 1/2 cups plain flour
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
This recipe makes 6 tortillas (7 inches)

Instructions:
Mix the flour, water and salt in a bowl until a dough forms. Knead it briefly until smooth, then divide the dough into 6 small balls.
Place the balls back in the bowl and cover them with a warm cloth. Let them rest for 20 to 30 minutes.
Roll each ball out thinly (about 7 inches).
Cook the tortillas in a dry pan with no oil for a few seconds on each side until they puff and get light golden spots.
